Najarra Townsend

Najarra was three when she knew exactly what she wanted to do in her life. She started modeling and act in stage plays in the community she lived in. Through her early years and teenage life, Najarra was involved in both musical and theatrical productions. In the film "Menace" where she was in the lead role, she appeared at age ten. Najarra won international recognition because of her character in the Sundance as well as the Cannes Award-winning "Me and You and Everybody We are" in 2005. She has appeared as the main actress in a variety of films, including "Tru Loved""Marin blue", and "Betty I Am" in addition to others. In 2014, audiences got to experience a different side of the actress's youthful self with"Contracted," which was an IFC Midnight horror hit "Contracted".
