Apollonia Kotero

Patricia Apollonia Kotero (born Patricia Apollonia Kotero) is an American actress, singer and model. She was a model for a while before becoming an actress. Her most well-known work is her role in Prince's 1984 film Purple Rain as well as being the lead vocalist of Apollonia 6, a girl group. Apollonia is a singer/actress who was christened by Prince in 1984 was one of the many female musicians of the 80s who benefitted from Prince. The actress was born Patricia Kotero in Santa Monica California in 1959, her professional career started as a model and actress towards the end of the 1970s with a role on the TV show CHiPS. In 1984, she was cast to play the lead female character in Prince's Purple Rain. During that period, he also changed his name. Also, she replaced Vanity as well as the group Vanity 6 for the role. They performed as a trio on the movie under the name Apollonia 6 Sex Shooter, a song from the soundtrack had a small success for the trio, but as Prince's Duet Partner on Take Me with You she was more successful. Kotero ended her relationship with Prince when they fell out over the future of Apollonia 6. Following her appearance in minor movies (and reportedly refusing to be a part in the Purple Rain film Under the Cherry Moon) She was a part of the 1985-86 show on television called Falcon Crest. Apollonia had the opportunity to launch her debut album in the year 1988. Unfortunately, it didn't leave a lasting impression on music lovers and soon faded from the scene. She continued acting (if somewhat under the radar) during the subsequent decade. Her small TV roles, minor films, and workout videos kept her active. Apollonia recorded a bilingual album titled Stay With Me. Later, she returned to the school and received a degree in filmmaking, and formed her own production company, often working on television for children. Apollonia wears multiple hats. She was a former actor, singer and model. Purple Rain, the 1984 movie in which she starred is her most famous performance. In addition to Purple Rain, she has appeared in other TV films, including Black Magic Woman or The Divorce Ceremony. Kotero debuted her career as a model. Kotero was a participant in a variety of contests and pageants. Kotero was first for her first contest, the Miss San Pedro Beauty Pageant. She began her career in the late 1980s. In addition to Purple Rain, she has appeared in numerous films. Her popular films are Back To Back Black Magic Woman La Donna di una Sera and Cattive Ragazze. The American beauty has also been featured in music videos for Ray Parker Jr., Eddie Money and other artists. Kotero Entertainment was founded by Kotero Entertainment which is a multi-media company.
